Community Invited to Come Together In Solidarity Against Hate Crime What: As part of its Stride with Pride Walk-a-Thon this Monday, May 24th at 9:45 a.m. in conjunction with the Mayor?s Walk, Windsor Pride would like to invite the entire community to come together in solidarity against senseless violence like that inflicted on its volunteer Chris Rabideau early Friday morning. Windsor Pride invites family and friends, gay and straight to join us in a display of solidarity by wearing blue and walking with us from Assumption Park to Dieppe Park. Those who wish to support the programs and services of Windsor Pride Community by raising funds as part of the walk-a-thon or who wish to make a donation may call 519.973.4656 Friends of Chris Rabideau will be planning a fundraising event to support him in his recovery while off work. More details to follow. On Sunday from 12 ? 2 p.m. at the Windsor Pride Community Centre, Families Services Windsor-Essex and representatives from Windsor Police Victim Services will be on hand to talk to LGBTIQ and allied youth, providing counseling and an open forum where they can speak out and share their feelings on the horrible crime committed against Chris Rabideau
