Windsor Pride 2009 has got THE BEST entertainment you don't want to miss! Sandra Bernhard
For 25 years, Sandra Bernhard has been challenging fans and critics with her knife-edged humour, satire and emotive performances on film, stage and television. She first received accolades for her work in Martin Scorcese?s classic film The King of Comedy and has since appeared in number film and television roles. You may best know her for her role as Nancy on this hit series Roseanne. She has also guest starred in a number of series, including Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope and Will & Grace. We are thrilled that Sandra will be coming close to her home of Flint, Michigan as part of Friday Night OUT!
This Winnipeg native is best known these days as producer and host of MuchMusic?s Video on Trial. He is a two time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and has performed numerous comedy festivals, including South Africa, Vancouver, Halifax and the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Trevor Boris performed in Windsor last year and we are thrilled to have him back as Emcee for Friday Night OUT! Richard Ryder
Those of you were addicted to Global TV?s Project Runway Canada would know Sunny Fong as the quiet, yet wildly creative designer whose skills lead host Iman to name him the winner. After being judged for several months on TV, we asked Sunny to judge some queens and kings as they perform on the Windsor Pride stage? no doubt he?ll keep an eye out for those great costumes!
Ambrose Price is the host of the hit series The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price. Produced for HGTV in 2008, the show has been syndicated to the United States, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa and Israel. Taking on the world of design week after week, Ambrose has set out to become the next "powerhouse" in design and entertaining! Look out Martha, your gay competition has arrived!!!
With the success of ?Catherine Deneuve and the Deus Ex Machina? track and video from the band's second album (2006's We love You, but not as Much as we love Ourselves) making such an impact, R.Kelly Clipperton felt that Kelly and the Kellygirls was up for the challenge of a concept album. Modernism (the band's 3rd) has a decidedly Latin swing to it, but the familiar flavour of brassy, big-band swing runs a subtle undercurrent in the delicious flamenco riffs, driven by Clipperton?s growling baritone.
