One of Windsor?s most prominent community and cultural festivals is back and better than ever. Last year, nearly 8,000 attendees took in our 9 days of attractions. This year, we?ve made a few changes, and we know you?re gonna love them:

In an effort to have a weekend to call our own, we have moved our festival to the second weekend in August. So enjoy the FDJ International Dragon Boat Races, Bluesfest International and Windsor International Fringe Festival in July and get warmed up for Windsor Pride's main event.

We condensed our 9 day festival into 5 fabulous days of fun and fierce festivities. Consider your calendar full from August 5-9^th? because you know your friends have it booked.

We?re holding our first ever event with long-time sponsor Caesars Windsor? and we promise you? it?s BIG TIME!

Something new... and a whole lotta funny!

We?ve got two words for you? Sandra Bernhard!!

This legendary comedienne will headline Friday Night OUT! as part of Windsor Pride?s first ever LGBTT comedy festival. Also featuring MuchMusic?s Trevor Boris, this event is funded through a successful grant request to Celebrate Ontario totalling $25,770. The purpose is not just to throw a great event? we know how to do that. It is also to attract LGBTT tourists, their family and friends to our region, which is why we have partnered with Caesars Windsor to create some outstanding travel packages for this year?s event. Along with an Essex County winery tour and Next Top Drag Superstar competition featuring celebrity judges including Sunny Fong, recent winner of Project Runway Canada, we think there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Those who attend our festival come to expect certain attractions: our annual pride flag raising acts as the official kick-off of our festival; kids of all ages can have their hand at a little family fun with Pride Bowling at Rose Bowl Lanes; our Saturday Night Dance Party on the Detroit River is sure to get your feet movin?; and our annual pride parade and entertainment at Riverfront Festival Plaza is sure to delight.
