About Windsor Pride

The Windsor Pride Community has grown over time from a small but important march on City Hall, to an annual celebration of thousands, and into a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven corporation whose objectives include:

Promoting public awareness and understanding of the diversity of sexual orientation;
Encouraging respect for and support of the rights and dignity of persons in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and two-spirited community;
Develop and implement programs and initiatives with regard to the purposes of these objectives; and
Organize and oversee an annual Pride Festival.

The corporation is governed by its Board of Directors, Executive, and its annual general meeting of members, who together further the objectives of the corporation.
