Our Programs: Windsor Pride Community
Collaboration with our Partners
Windsor Pride Community, Run for Rocky, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, and Trans Wellness Ontario share a strong collaborative partnership focused on strengthening support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community across Windsor and Essex County. By working together on a wide range of initiatives, programs, events, and support services, these organizations are able to maximize their collective impact and ensure community members have access to meaningful resources and affirming spaces.
Through the regular sharing of space, equipment, volunteers, and organizational resources, each group is able to build capacity while reducing barriers to service delivery. This collaborative approach also allows the organizations to leverage one another’s expertise, professional networks, and community connections to better respond to emerging needs and create new opportunities for advocacy, education, wellness, and community engagement.
By fostering a spirit of cooperation rather than competition, Windsor Pride Community, Run for Rocky, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, and Trans Wellness Ontario strengthen the overall 2SLGBTQIA+ support network in Windsor-Essex, helping to create a more inclusive, connected, and resilient community for everyone.
